About the role:
We are seeking a Director of FP&A to support our rapid growth. As Director of FP&A you will oversee financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support Talkiatry’s growth and financial health. Reporting to the SVP, Strategic Finance, the successful candidate will need strong financial acumen, proven collaboration skills, a strategic mindset, and a desire to deeply understand the Company’s needs. This is a hybrid role that will require coming into the office 3 days per week.
You will:
- Lead the financial planning and budgeting process. As the Director of FP&A you will collaborate with various departments to develop detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial projections aligned with the company's strategic goals.
- Lead the month-end close and reporting activities for the company. This entails collaborating with accounting to ensure timelines are met, reviewing results, delivering variance analysis, and owning management reporting packages.
- Serve as the strategic finance lead for systems and process improvement initiatives, including a planned ERP implementation. Develop and implement enhancements to our financial planning, reporting, and enterprise systems to increase capabilities while driving efficiency.
- Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, accounting of, and analysis of revenue, collections, and bad debt expense. You will partner closely with the Controller and the VP of Revenue Cycle to implement ASC606 compliance and reporting.
- Lead ad hoc initiatives as new risks and opportunities are presented to the business. As Talkiatry is in growth mode, we work cross-functionally to support all areas of the business - even when projects fall outside of our direct expertise or functional boundary.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA preferred.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in the healthcare sector. This can include time spent in adjacent fields (data science, banking, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP), as well as industry-specific regulations relevant to the healthcare sector.
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with reporting requirements.

- Compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000, and up to a 15% performance bonus, depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
