PrimaryResponsibilities Include:
·Develop and implement treatmentprograms to meet the individual needs of each child
·Detailed knowledge of own scope andgeneral knowledge of fellow scopes
·Educate and demonstrate therapytechniques to parents/caregivers
·Assess patients and makerecommendations, provide referrals as needed
·Coordinate purchase of equipment for patient’sin-home treatment
·Provide timely documentation of notes,reports, and insurance justifications
·Maintain communication with patient’sPCP
·Provide clinical supervision to SLPstudents and assistants
·Assist in developing strategic andlong-range plans for STEP Pediatrics
SuccessfulCandidates Must Have:
·Current ASHA certification
·Current CCC-SLP certification
·1 year of experience as a PediatricSLP preferred
·4 years of post-clinical fellowship experienceas an SLP preferred
·Experience with pediatric feeding preferred
·Excellent organizational skills
·Exceptional problem-solving skills andattention to detail
·Colorado Medicaid credentialedpreferred
·Knowledge of insurance billing andcoding preferred
