FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - Kingwood is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team of professionals at our new Kingwood location in a full-time role We are cultivating a team of like-minded individuals who will bring their unique strengths and experience together to form a collective, bridging the gap between patients and quality, compassionate care. Our independent, locally-owned practice will be opening this Spring, and we need a dynamic Receptionist who is great with people and has experience in a clinical setting. This role is vital as our Receptionist is the face and voice of our organization, setting the standard for kind and empathetic customer service. Primary Responsibilities Include:
•Greet patients
•Manage multi-phone line system and client email correspondence
•Collect payments
•Schedule patient appointments, coordinate evaluations, re-evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancelations
•Collect new patient intake information and track all clinic referrals
•Fax reports to physicians, keep a log of incoming reports
•Verify Insurance and track insurance-covered visits, take copayments
•Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling/patient arrival
•Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Successful Candidates Must Have :
•Must be at least 18 years of age
•High school diploma or equivalent
•1 year(s) of medical reception experience preferred
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
•Excellent communication skills
•Detail-oriented and adept at multitasking
•Positive and compassionate demeanor with a high degree of integrity
•Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
•Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
•Team player who can work in harmony with others
