Talentry is looking for a talented Scientistwho is a “master of the literature,” and who is interested in understandingdetailed biological mechanisms at the molecular level for novel drug discovery.The right person will have experience with genetic analysis.
This person could be computationally focused,but the most important aspect is the ability to review novel drug targets todevelop biological hypotheses for how targeting a specific gene or proteinwould provide a therapeutic benefit.
This will involve working with multi-functionalteams of scientists, engineers, informaticists, geneticists, softwaredevelopers, and others to optimize computational solutions for discovering andanalyzing potential therapeutical targets.
The right person for this role will be able totranslate data into therapeutic hypotheses, and work with the scientists todevelop the design of in vivo and in vitro studies that would validate thehypotheses.
·Ph.D. in Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or similarrelated subject, with 0-3 years (0 years requires some similar proven researchexperience in an academic environment.) MS with 5 years of experience.
·Proven knowledge of genetics and biology, able to interprethuman genetic studies, derive therapeutic opportunities, and understandstatistical genetics and genetic epidemiology.
