Job Title: Loan Documentation Processor / Specialist
Location: DES MOINES, IA - in-office position
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Documentation Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will support various loan documentation duties for moderately complex loans, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Your responsibilities will include processing and closing loan products, interpreting loan documentation policies, analyzing applicant and property information, and managing an assigned pipeline of loans.
Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to other team members and interact with immediate team members and functional areas on routine processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform loan documentation for moderately complex loans.
• Process and close loan products in accordance with company policies.
• Interpret loan documentation policies while analyzing applicant, property, and documentation.
• Order all required verifications, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Receive direction from Loan Documentation supervisor and escalate non-routine questions.
• Manage an assigned pipeline of loans and provide guidance and training to other Loan Documentation individuals.
• Interact with immediate Loan Documentation team and functional area on routine processes.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of Loan Documentation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Home Lending background.
• Knowledge of mortgage documents and processes preferred.
• Experience working with Title documents and Settlement Agents.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.52 - $20.52 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Loan processing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Loan Documentation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mortgage servicing: 1 year (Preferred)
