Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced analyst to assume the role of Business Analysis Lead within our Global Market Operations team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Securities Operations teams, Technology, and Transformation teams to deliver comprehensive business and functional analysis, and to develop specifications for target state design. This role requires agility in adapting to change, a deep understanding of complex product sets and operational practices, and the ability to perform structured analysis to meet critical requirements. The ideal candidate will possess up-to-date industry knowledge of business analysis best practices and a strong understanding of fixed income products.

Responsibilities:

• Understand systems migration and its implications for operations teams.
• Design and map current state processes while developing new operational, risk, and control processes, as necessary.
• Forge strong partnerships across operational functional areas, project teams, and technology leads to support decommissioning and migration efforts.
• Provide input into functionality changes and identify automation opportunities.
• Conduct impact assessments, produce business requirements, UAT scenarios, procedures, and training materials.
• Coordinate requirements, ensuring appropriate documentation and sign-off.
• Proactively manage changes impacting scope and implement contingency plans as needed.
• Generate management reports on project status and progress and provide support to the project manager as required.
• Understand and evaluate the current state of GMO reconciliation and tooling capability.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the business and markets supported by Markets Operations.
• Experience driving transformation across organizations, with a track record of delivering projects on time.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and manage large and complex datasets to make observations and recommendations for change.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply project governance principles (documentation/reporting, tollgates, risk identification, etc.) to change initiatives.
