Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Sr. Project Manager (Actuarial) for a contract to hire position in Golden Valley, MN.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- This role is Scrum Master/Project Manager supporting the Actuarial team.
- The SM function will provide support to our Klondike Agile team to include preparation for governance review (Steering/Operating Committee, Portfolio), team risk/issue management, financial governance and establishing metrics.
- Manage project financials supporting multiple workstreams/teams to include estimates, change orders and forecast Partner with varied stakeholders across multiple workstreams to align on scope, delivery schedule, risks and issues.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies to include SAFE and hybrid models.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels within the organization, with emphasis on senior leaders, while operating in an ambiguous environment.
- Experienced in formal techniques of risk management.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience in Change Management
- 10 years of experience managing and delivering successful IT projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Life Insurance and annuity experience as well familiarity with actuarial department or systems is preferred.
- Technical acumen with a complex test environment framework, driving continuous improvement and innovative solutions facilitating senior leader engagement.
