RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: The relocation package amount is negotiable based on relocation distance and comes with a 2-year work requirement, paid out within 30 days of submission of receipts. If an individual receives both the sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, the total commitment period would be 2 years.

Position: Join our team in the newly established Acute Rehab Unit.

Job Description: Under the general direction and upon physician referral, assess the functional needs of physically disabled patients. Develop treatment goals and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing various physical therapy procedures.

The Physical Therapist must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care suitable for patients of all ages served in the department. This includes understanding the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and providing care with consideration of developmental status.

Primary (Essential) Duties:

• Objectively and quantifiably assess a baseline level of physical function for each patient referred, considering pertinent medical and onset history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, functional mobility, and pain control.
• Identify functional needs and establish appropriate treatment outcome goals based on the initial patient assessment. These goals should be measurable, realistic, and appropriate to the patient's condition.
• Plan and implement treatment programs designed to achieve or significantly progress toward the established outcome goals. These programs should be dynamic relative to the patient's clinical response, ensuring consistency and continuity to enhance the patient's progress.

Work Conditions/Hours:

• Normal working hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
• Standard Physical Therapy clinic conditions.

Preferred Requirement:

• Preferred: Master's Degree.
