OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL THERAPIST - AXIS SPINE

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our Axis Spine & Orthopedics Physical Therapy Team! 

This position starts at 85K a year & is eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus! Position will be 4 - 10 hour shifts per week! 

We’re looking for a FT/PT Physical Therapist for our Coeur d’Alene outpatient office. At Axis Spine Center, we believe in delivering first class patient care, treating every person in our clinic with respect and kindness, and seeking for continuous improvement. Our physical therapists provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that works to assess each patient’s strengths and weaknesses to devise effective team-based treatment plans, in accordance with the physician’s orders. Our patient information and access to imaging studies, ensure the best clinical outcomes for our patients.

The ideal Physical Therapist would be a new graduate with a forward-thinking approach and a passion for spine care. Our collaborative team provides mentorship and supports progression towards specialty certification. In addition to adhering to this vision and possessing these qualities, the PT will do the following:

  • Evaluate, develop and administer detailed treatment programs with specific goals defined by patient’s capacity and tolerance, and in accordance with established pre, and post-op spine protocols.
  • Educate patients about spinal anatomy, biomechanics, and injury prevention to promote wellness.
  • Communicate with patients, team members, director of physical therapy, and physicians to ensure a consistent level of care.
  • Complete daily documentation on new evaluations and existing patients.
  • Participate in quarterly webinars as a speaker, and share in teaching “Spine Class” for pre-op patients. 

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Must have current and unrestricted licensure in the state of Idaho, or be actively in the application process.
  • Must have current BLS certification.
