We are searching for a Validation/Characterization Engineer in Austin, TX

• Develop validation/characterization test plans and Perform bench validation of embedded state of the art mixed signal analog IP (PLL, OSC, LDO etc) in Automotive and consumer Microcontrollers.- Develop automation scripts for bench validation using national instruments' LabVIEW/test stand software as well as some python and C
• collect Data and Perform data analysis. Generate reports to summarize test results
• Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team that includes design, ATE, applications, marketing and QA engineers
  Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects within the areas of testing methods, device specification and yield problems, minor redesign of devices and masks, and optimizing device production relative to cost constraints.

  Develop test plans based on design specifications. Specify PCB design requirements for bench validation boards
• Develop automation software and/or scripts for bench validation ( LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C, Bash)
• Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team that includes design, ATE, applications, marketing and QA engineer.
• Qualifications:
• BS degree in Electrical or computer engineering (MS preferred)
  Minimum 5 years of experience in post-silicon bench validation with focus on mixed signal IP (ADC, DAC, DCDC converters, LDOs, Clocks (FRO, OSC, PLL), OPAMPs)
  Knowledge of high speed PCB design techniques
  Experience running bench top lab equipment
  Proficiency in Labview/TestStand software highly desirable
