We have been asked to identify an Engineering Test Technician for one of our clients in North Dallas, Texas.

Additional Information:

Perform reliability stressing using High Voltage equipment in laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in Electronics and 2 years of experience. Experience working in a lab environment is preferred. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. May assist in the development or improvement of test program hardware and/or software. Requires ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments. Must be able to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Attention to detail is critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work with Test, Program Engineers & other technicians to meet department goals.

• Testing:
  • Qual Testing at both room temperature and several temperature points using Thermal Stream or other TFS temperature control machinery
  • Reliability Testing
• Previous experience with Eagle or Teradyne Automated Testers
• Work up to 24 pin units is desired

• Serialization of tested units
• Documentation of Test Results
• High level of organization
• Working second or third shift, but flexible to adjust schedule as demand needed.
• High level of responsiveness and strong commitment to customer service, both internal and external
