We are searching for a Facilities Gas Systems Designer in Allen, TX
Job Description:
The Facilities Gas Systems Designer will be responsible for designing and developing gas the process gas distribution systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing gas systems for clean rooms, labs, and other semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop gas systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities. This includes a gas distribution room complete with gas cabinets of 18-20 various gas types and the distribution from the gas room to the point of use.
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure gas systems meet project requirements.
Perform calculations and simulations to determine gas system requirements.
Create and maintain documentation related to gas system design and development.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
Will be required to work with municipal code enforcement personnel to obtain authorizations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in designing gas systems for semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
MUST has a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license for signoff with municipalities.
Strong knowledge of gas system design principles and practices
Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
