Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Build, wrap, pack, and label pallets for shipments
- Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move materials
- Perform shipping and receiving duties
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Handle materials following safety guidelines set by OSHA
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in materials handling or a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
