Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory management
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards while operating equipment
- Assist with warehouse management tasks as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate order pickers efficiently
Skills:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Strong understanding of basic math for inventory tracking
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations for warehouse operations
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude to handle equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
