Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cranes in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform pre-operational checks and inspections on equipment
- Lift, move, and position heavy loads using the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Assist with rigging and securing loads as necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience operating cranes or heavy equipment is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and load charts
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations is a plus
