Who We’re Looking For:TACP is looking for an Assistant Retail Floor Manager. A successful candidate is charismatic with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to model and nurture best practices for the staff. Providing top-tier customer service is a must as is the ability to maintain a clean, attractive and inviting environment highlighting our unique products.

The Assistant Floor Manager works in conjunction with and reports to the Retail Manager (RM) and the General Manager (GM). The ability to collaborate closely with coworkers is important to this role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct employee orientation and training sessions
• Schedule coffee and retail teams, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized floor, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
• Be able to work at any of the retail departments as needed
• With the direction of the Retail Manager, oversee the day’s task list of restocking, unpacking orders and maintaining inventory. Delegate tasks to team members and check that jobs are completed well and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or relative experience
• 2 years of retail food or grocery management experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Positive, upbeat demeanor
• Ability to work in the walk-in refrigerator and freezer
• Strong follow-through and ability to complete tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, weekends and holidays as well as occasional evenings as required

Compensation & Schedule: Permanent, full time: Wednesday - Sunday 8am - 4pm$20/hour plus share of employee bonus fund
