Take Ten Tire and Service is seeking experienced commercial tire sales representative for their Oklahoma City location. Position has earnings potential over $100,000, a solid business base currently with great growth opportunity.

The Outside Sales position is the lead person for commercial field sales and as such continually services existing clients as well as constantly striving to obtain new clients or expanded contracts. As a part of this role, the Outside Sales position is responsible for regular reporting of sales calls, trends and directions and communicating these to the store manager. The Outside Salesperson must maintain current knowledge of the products in the industry as well as improvements and promotions.

Essential Functions

  • Make sales presentations to trucking and commercial accounts wholesale and other accounts as required.
  • Conduct cold calls and develop new accounts.
  • Keep records and history on customers to maximize sales of our products and services.
  • Regular sales calls, delivery and pickup of product as necessary
  • Gather information and make judgments necessary to facilitate payment for products and services delivered.
  • Properly complete all invoicing/crediting as required for business transactions.
  • Collection of both timely and past due payments from customer accounts.
  • Set up and charge to customer credit accounts in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers as necessary.
  • Stay informed and advise management of customer trends and competitive activity.
  • Prepare regular reports to advise management of sales and product trends and metrics.
  • Provide superior customer service at all times.
  • Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
  • Adhere at all times to company policies and legal regulations while conducting business.

Education and Work Experience

  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have valid drivers license with insurable history with ability to pull trailer as needed.
  • Experience minimum of 3 years and proven knowledge with all types of tires but primarily with heavy duty, commercial tires.
  • Prior experience in sales and strong connections in the tire industry a plus.

Full time position with benefits and company supplied vehicle

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
