Job Summary:
The Operations Assistant at Cornhole Ace will be a pivotal part of our operations team, overseeing the construction of cornhole boards, managing our production staff, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient production workflows and meeting our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Operations Assistant will serve as a backup to the General Manager and play a key role in fulfilling orders and managing day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of cornhole board construction and other product assemblies.
• Lead and motivate a team of craftsmen and production staff, setting clear goals and expectations.
• Monitor and report inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies without overstocking.
• Coordinate with the fulfillment team to ensure that all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Serve as a point of contact for team members for all operational queries.
• Provide backup support to the Manager, including decision-making and problem-solving as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
• Train new employees on production techniques and company protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or a related field.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly and effectively.
• Experience with woodworking or product assembly is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and any relevant production management software.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
