Customer Service Key Account Representative

tag in Chicago, IL is looking to hire a full-time Customer Service Key Account Representative. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

As a Key Account Customer Service Representative for tag , you will play an essential role in the continued support to provide excellent service for an industry leader in home, gifts, and housewares. You start your day by checking emails and voicemails. Each day you will enter or edit orders, file claims, provide invoice copies, respond to shipping inquiries, answer orders status questions and update your daily Key Account Tracker for the Operations Team.

You will be responsible for maintaining all Key Account customer requirements, vendor manuals and routing guides. Additionally, you will be responsible for Key Account special instructions, ticketing, packing instructions, carton labels and lead times. You will manage both key account customer and product setup forms & web portals. You will be responsible to work cross functionally with Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse Team on a daily basis. You will work closely with experienced customer service representatives and managers to build your product knowledge. You will be instructed on the usage of various resource systems to better answer questions about products and availability. You will be required to create and maintain internal SOP manuals. Working with management you will assist in team projects for your department and other internal departments.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

  • Customer Service Experience
  • High School education or equivalent (some college helpful)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook and powerpoint)
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional Communications and interpersonal skills
  • Accuracy in Data Entry
  • Intermediate proficiency to learn new software quickly.
