Overview

The Sr Manager, HR Business Partner (Sr Mgr HRBP) leads the strategic design and implementation of integrated HR solutions for a large business unit or division. This expert HR leader guides executives on critical workforce planning while directing end-to-end delivery of aligned talent strategies. This role will also play a key role in leading change management efforts across the business.

The Sr Mgr HRBP plays an influential role crafting innovative, scalable people solutions and advising on complex organizational priorities. This senior-level individual contributor role requires sophisticated business acumen, advanced consulting skills, and a depth of HR expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-level talent strategy projects concentrated on building capability, supporting growth, and driving change
  • Consult executives on complex organizational priorities involving structure, development, culture evolution and transformation
  • Direct the design and delivery of integrated HR solutions focused on talent, leadership, performance and retention
  • Provide insight to business leaders using analytics related to organization health, talent pipeline, and HR program effectiveness
  • Lead enterprise-wide people initiatives and program launches within assigned division
  • Guide and mentor (or manage) HRBPs and Associate HRBPs within area of responsibility
  • Represent HR agenda for executive leadership team discussions and planning sessions
  • Develop standards, frameworks, and tools to promote HR consistency and excellence
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of progressive Human Resource or related experience

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • At least 3 years in an HR business partner role
  • Previous experience working in a larger, matrixed company
  • Experience leading significant Change Management projects

  • Knowledge across HR disciplines including talent acquisition, development, total rewards, and employment law
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executives and enable managers as a trusted advisor
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen with track record of solving complex people issues
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
  • Experience guiding organizational change and talent transformation initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with a talent/people lens
  • Ability to manage competing demands, prioritize work with a sense of urgency, meet deadlines, work independently, and deliver on commitments

Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.

$113,300 - $169,890
