Job SummaryWe are seeking a Program Manager to join TYLin's PMCM Sector on the Mid Atlantic!Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Sector Leader and key management personnel to support Client. Managing Client expectations and assuring client satisfaction related to program
  • Serve as Program Manager on utility and roadway projects and assume the financial, staffing, scope and schedule management responsibilities of that role.
  • Serve as key technical lead/point of contact in planning/design/construction of utility projects.
  • Preparation and tracking of project schedules, work tasks and delivery of projects on-time and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress, costs and scope. Lead communication with clients, negotiation of fees for additional services and delivery of contract modifications for such services.
  • Supervision and coaching of key team members
  • Responsible for project quality. Assures QA/QC processes are completed on each project.
  • Support in staff development, including Project Manager training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field required.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington, D.C. (or able to obtain) and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) required.
  • 10 years of experience in Project Management activities and managing construction field teams.
  • Construction Management experience with local infrastructure agency clients such as WMATA, DC Water, DDOT, etc.
  • Project Management Procedures (PMP's) and Project Management Guidelines (PMG's) familiarity a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills are required.
  • Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
  • Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.
  • High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
