Summary: TGI Office Automation seeks a bright, highly motivated, and enthusiastic Dispatcher to join the growing Service team in our dynamic Brooklyn Headquarters. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced team that is focused on supporting the growth of our company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Take daily attendance of all technicians.
• Retrieve and respond to voicemail messages in a timely manner.
• Reply to all applicable emails with urgency.
• Review all open calls and prioritize appropriately based on various factors.
• Review with Service Manager all high frequency service calls.
• Manage technicians’ daily activity schedules, including assigning, routing, parts status, billing.
• Check all chargeable calls and follow up with the customer.
• Get signed service orders from technicians for chargeable calls to match and submit with invoice.
• Respond to customers on any status inquiries and anticipated delays.
• Review all daily deliveries.
• Review all shipping and pick up records in assigned territory.
• Assign equipment to designated technician.
• Review network related calls and contact customer to schedule and assign IT technician.
• Review and manage EMP calendar network requests daily.
• Work on service reports and interface reports.
• Communicate with parts department and field managers on service issues.
• Correspond with technicians and sales representatives on a daily basis.
• Handle all questions and concerns for technicians.
• Practice call avoidance.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience, particularly in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs
• Ability to effectively manage field personnel in assigned territory
• Strong organization skills with attention to detail and consistent follow up.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate effectively over the phone and email, and with all levels of customers, colleagues, and management.
• Proficient with MS Office programs.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Industry experience and/or dispatch experience is preferred but not required.
• Professional presentation; is approachable, enthusiastic and displays a high level of self-motivation.
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner; able to work independently.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must have good attendance, reliability, and punctuality.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
