JOB SUMMARYSDI is seeking a Software Developer to support Army Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) training solutions with the Joint Technology Center/Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and integrate solutions that meet requirements for UAS training solutions in the scope of software baseline planning, network design, deployment methodologies such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and benchmark validation of system prototypes.
-Work with multiple contractors and team partners to continuously deliver value to our customers.
-Candidate will review, verify and validate system specifications and other design-related documentation.
-Support architectural design and analyze customer requirements
Software development implementing detailed object-oriented analysis and design
-Support unit and component test cases for inclusion in the Continuous Integration/Deployment pipeline
-Work with other teams/team members to resolve technical issues that may arise during development and testing

Must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance-REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development or a related discipline.
-5 years’ software development experience (C#, C )
-Experience with .NET Framework and Visual Studio IDE
-Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD) experience
-Working knowledge of agile and scrum practices
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES- UAS Vehicles and relative Payloads background/experience.
- Army and Army Training background/experience.
-TCP/IP/UDP network communications experience
- Familiar with STNG-4586 protocol
- Experience with writing client/server applications
- UAS control software experience
- Experience working with Redhat/Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with distributed simulation, Army tactical systems, 6-DOF (6 Degrees of Freedom), Motion Models, and/or Flight Models, is desired.
