This is a software development position that will focus on maintaining cross platform build system and CICD pipelines as well as help with code development for multiple software products. They will be working on a team with mostly engineers and scientists, therefore, good cross discipline communication skills would be highly useful. The software products are physics based modeling and simulation tools mostly written in modern Fortran, though Fortran experience is not a requirement. Due to the small team size, there will be a variety of technical problems to tackle, so an applicant can expect to use multiple different programming languages and development tools as part of their day to day.
Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree and 2 years of experience
• Gitlab, CMake, OOP, Bash/Power Shell
• Needs to be able to work with engineers, Python, C/C or Fortran
• U.S Citizenship required

Desired Qualifications:

• Fortran 2008 , C/C , Python, Git, Docker, Valgrind, gprof (or Intel equivalents), parallel computing/multithreading

Location: This role is based at CFD Research Corporate headquarters , in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.
