Responsibilities

Senior Graphic Designer

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading the visual storytelling that will promote Synoptek’s company, culture, and brand. This position will work cross-functionally with the marketing team to build unique and compelling brand experiences while championing Synoptek brand promise and vision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the efforts in the production of all marketing materials
• Maintain creative direction for the company as well as our corporate brand guidelines.
• Create and/or keep updated visual design deliverables (e.g., branding, style guides, mock-ups, iconography, presentation layouts, print collateral, white papers, case studies, datasheets, newsletters, email templates, trade shows and more)
• Design PowerPoint presentations and other communications materials to communicate our business strategies
• Establish an illustration style that scales across Synoptek’s various solutions
• Develop the creative for our online presence, including social posts and page layouts and visual treatments for the website
• Help establish our motion design style via web and video
• Conceive, design, and translate data points and content into compelling infographics and visuals
• Produce new ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications
• Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution
• Mentor and encourage creative team members to foster a positive work environment
• Continually raise the bar for design excellence

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or related field from an accredited college or university
• In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 - meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa

 Experience

• Customarily has at least 5 years of graphic design experience
• Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud [Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,] and other graphic design software
• Experience working in technology, services, or other business/technical related field
• Experience working in UX / webpage design (wireframing)
• Familiarity with HTML and WordPress preferred
• Experience working in video and animation software is a plus

Work is performed primarily in an office or remote environment; final location is determined by business need. May be subject to time constraints and tight deadlines. May require occasional travel.

Salary Range: $87,000.00-$100,000.00

The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay rang for Colorado applicants for this role is $87,000.00-$100,000.00. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
