Synergy is growing again! We are looking to add experienced Recovery Technicians to our team. The ideal individual will have experience in the behavioral, addiction or recovery industries and have a strong desire to serve others in their journey to recovery!

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate weekly House Meeting, ensuring all resident chore assignments are fulfilled explaining any duties, answering any questions, and assisting in the resolution of any problems which may arise.
• Orients new residents to program rules and regulations of residency including meals, chores, curfews, phone, smoking, mail, signing in and out, etc.
• Help peers and/or those supported achieve planned goals by modeling, mentoring, advocating, and coaching.
• Oversees and documents the self-administration of medication.
• Performs random /scheduled room and property searches and chore checks.
• Helps participants navigate the recovery support network and adhere to their relapse prevention plans.
• Assists individuals with acquiring appropriate documents such as driver’s license, food stamps etc.
• Assists with facilitation of groups, workshops, and other events on addictions, wellness, recovery and resiliency.
• Provides individual attention and support to residents as necessary, encouraging participation in A.A., N.A, sponsorship relationship, and employment-educational needs.
• Completes daily reports on events, incidents, participant wellbeing and etc.
• Performs inventory of house supplies and restocks them as needed.
• Inspects homes for cleanliness & to verify that good neighbor policies are being followed.
• Identifies and promptly reports residence maintenance issues.
• Leads house meetings and 12-step groups within the residence as-needed.
• Enforces Synergy Recovery Network’s policies and procedures and report violations according to company policies.
• Monitors participant behavior and reports any events to immediate supervisor.
• Performs drug screenings of participants as needed for drug/alcohol use.
• Provides transportation to and from approved sites (IOP, AA/NA meetings, grocery etc.) to ensure participants get to their destinations safely and on time.
• Performs vehicle inspections as needed.
• Uphold HIPAA, 42CFR Part 2 in regard to patient/guest confidentiality at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• 4 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction or recovery industry required
• CNA/HHA, or Medical Assistant Experience a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• A passion and desire to help others in their journey to recovery
