Synergy is growing again! We are looking to add an experienced Nursing Manager to our team. The Nursing Manager supervises Medical Assistants & other non-licensed personnel. They are responsible for coordinating with performs administrative and certain clinical duties & supervises non licensed personnel. Duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, taking and recording vital signs, documenting side effects, and supervising the self-administration of medications.

• Collaborates with Counselors, Peer Recovery Coaches, Directors, other Department Managers
• Participate in the hiring, evaluation, promotion and termination of employees
• Supervise & document resident self-administration of medication.
• Report significant findings: e.g., notable changes in patient's physical or mental condition to licensed personnel.
• Counsels' patients re: personal hygiene, abnormal lab results and all medical matters including changes in treatment
• Assist in the provision of care as indicated in the interdisciplinary recovery plan.
• Assist in the performance of medical safety searches.
• Collect and label specimens as directed in the policy and procedure manual.
• Obtain monthly self-report re-assessment measures.
• Perform administrative tasks such as resident intake, client coordination, and medical record requests.
• Educates patients about MAT therapies and their side effects
• Perform other administrative & clinical duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program accredited by the U.S. Department of Education
• One (1) year directly related experience in addiction or recovery preferred.
• LPN’s must have an active LPN License in the state of Indiana.
• A passion and desire to help others in their journey to recovery.
