Seeking a Strong Senior React Engineer to join a fast growing startup in the Chicago area.

Salary: 140-160K

Onsite: in the west loop area of Chicago

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end components and features using React.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or internal teams
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5 years of experience in front-end development
• Proficient in React.js and its core principles
• Versed in TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6 syntax
• Experience with AWS services and deployment
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux, Flux)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (such as Webpack, Babel)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Experience with version control systems (such as Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of server-side languages (such as Node.js, Python)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with testing frameworks (such as Jest, Enzyme)
