Job Title: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary: As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. Your role will involve a combination of clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and educational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough cardiovascular assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretation.

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.

· Formulate accurate diagnoses based on patient assessments and diagnostic findings.

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and therapeutic interventions.

· Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.

· Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

· Promote heart-healthy lifestyles and offer guidance on diet, exercise, and medication adherence.

· Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on cardiology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification.
• Specialized training or experience in cardiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,043.75 - $140,848.39 per year
