Healthcare company is seeking a seasoned IT Director with over 10 years of experience with IT infrastructure management in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and strategic planning, as well as a team oriented mindset and the ability to problem solve complex issues.

As our IT director you will be overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of all the company's network infrastructure. This role involves strategic planning, excellent team leadership, and ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the network systems. The Director of IT will possess a strong background in networking technologies, security protocols, and team management to optimize network performance and support the company's growth objectives. Experience with Fortinet products and solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
• Cybersecurity Oversight: Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard sensitive patient data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategies with business objectives, identifying opportunities for technological advancements and operational efficiencies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of products and services within budgetary constraints.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments to maintain adherence to HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations in the event of IT system failures or emergencies.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT department budget, allocating resources effectively to support business objectives while controlling costs.
• Project Management: Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field with 10 years of proven experience; Master's degree with 7 years preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong working and proven knowledge of Fortinet products and solutions, with certification(s) preferred.
• Expert level experience with Microsoft 365 products.
• Demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and strategic planning.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement and expert attention to detail.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, particularly HIPAA.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Ability to meet and exceed project deadlines with excellent time management skills.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
