Synerfac Technical Staffing is Hiring a Material Planner Near Nashville, NC

Summary
As a Material Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials through our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for coordinating the procurement, inventory management, and scheduling of materials to meet production demands while optimizing costs and minimizing waste. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of production schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements to support production goals
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to anticipate future material requirements and proactively address potential supply chain disruptions
  • Evaluate material requirements based on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and requisition materials accordingly
  • Utilize inventory management software and other tools to track and manage material movements, transactions, and inventory accuracy
  • Monitor raw and package inventory and lead inventory optimization initiatives
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in material planning and supply chain management
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry required
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
