Job Title: Production Scheduler
Pay Rate: $30 to $33/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
This position is for the Power/Energy division.
We are looking for a Production Scheduler.
This position is a Production Scheduler position located in the Combustion Components manufacturing department located in Charlotte, NC. Specifically, this position will be involving the scheduling of the basket repair area of the shop.
- Schedule workflow in I&A and Repair of basket components
- Forecast and facilitate completion dates for parts
- Provide detailed work center scheduling
- Manage raw part inventories and availability at point of use
- Collaborate with team members and supervision to ensure accurate prioritization of work
- Facilitate non-conformance rework planning and scheduling
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of manufacturing experience in scheduling, line supervision, industrial engineering, or production control.
- Must be willing to work 5 days/week in an office/shop floor environment
- Knowledge of MRP and scheduling systems/tools is preferred.
- Proven experience with SAP and Microsoft Office software, a plus.
- Knowledge of general welding and fabrication is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to evaluate options and make decisions
- Ability to work as a team player
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
