Full-time, entry-level, 2nd shift opportunityHours : 3pm - 11pm / M-FA premier manufacturer local to Lancaster County is searching for a Machine Operator.

The Machine Operator will be responsible for planning, laying out, constructing, altering, and repairing a broad range of tools and equipment.Responsibilities :

• Conduct necessary mathematical calculations for allowances in fitting and finishing operations.* Collaborate with machinists on complex tasks and lay out work as required.
• Set-up and operate all machine tools, determining alignments, locations, and speeds.* Perform work indication to identify runouts or misalignments.
• Provide troubleshooting and repair assistance to set-up technicians.* Keep the work area and equipment tidy and organized.
• Perform and document preventative maintenance on dies accurately.Qualifications : * A minimum of 1 years of relevant work experience.
• A high school diploma / GED or technical certificate.Skills : * Understanding of shop mathematics and handbook formulas.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, specifications, and sketches.* Familiarity with basic computer operations, including email, Excel, and web-based applications.

Preferred Skill Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.We encourage continuous learning and growth, and while this preferred skill is not mandatory, we value candidates who are eager to expand their skill set.
