Symphony Manor of Feasterville is a Senior Living community located in Feasterville, PA that provides Memory Care and Assisted Living Services. Our Community promotes a warm and respectful atmosphere for all of our residents and staff.

Symphony Manor of Feasterville is currently searching for a Full Time 12-hour shift LPN. Every other weekend rotation is required.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position provides direct nursing care at the highest degree of quality under the direction of the Director of Nursing to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state and local regulations that govern our facility.

This nurse position reports directly to the Director of Nursing

Major Duties and Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet the nursing needs of each resident
  • Be proficinet in Point Click Care
  • Follow physician's orders, render/assist with complete nursing care
  • Transcribe physican's orders promptly & accurately
  • Medicaton Administration
  • Provide supervision and assistance to Personal Care Aides on your shift
  • Update patient records, and document complete nursing notes
  • Visit each resident on a daily basis to evaluate resident needs. Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them. Give report of relevant resident information to each oncoming shift through a verbal and/or written report
  • Document and report any unusual or significant findings and contact the physician as necessary
  • Maintain an accurate and safe control on all drugs for which he/she is responsible
  • Initiate any and all emergency procedures as necessary
  • Demonstrate correct safety techniques
  • Take care of all facility equipment
  • Contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions
  • Promote positive resident and family relations
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Participate in all in-service trainings as well as all emergency drills

Job Requirements:

  • Current Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, in good standing
  • CPR certified
  • Must be able make independent decisions when necessary
  • Must have critical thinking ability, must be able to determine appropriate solutions to issues as they arise. Must be able to remain calm in emergency situations
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members and all visitors
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws that govern Assisted Living Facilities in PA
  • Must possess leadership skills and the willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel
  • Must possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills
  • Must be knowledgeable with drug actions and interactions
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
  • Must have reliable transportation
