Job Title: Qualified Medication Aide

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Qualified Medication Aide to join our team. As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medication to patients and ensuring their safety and well-being. 

Responsibilities:

- Administer medication to patients as prescribed by the physician

- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication

- Document medication administration and any changes in patient condition

- Communicate with healthcare team regarding patient care and medication management

- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure medication is stored properly

- Assist with activities of daily living as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a state-approved medication aide training program

- Current certification as a Medication Aide

- Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols

- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
