Position Description:

• Ideal candidate must have effective communication skills for interacting with physicians, families and staff members
• Recent experience in a skilled environment as a wound care nurse with in depth knowledge of treatment protocols, measuring wounds, documentation, etc. is a MUST
• Coordinate with and supervise the wound care nurses within department
• Serve a resource for the clinical team and provide education when necessary
• Must have the ability to work every other weekend, some holidays (rotation) and particpate in the oncall rotation

Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Wound care Certification
• Ability to care for high acuity patients
• High standard of ethics
• Ability to facilitate teamwork
• Valid CPR
• Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast pace environment
