Job Title: Director of Project Finance

Position Overview: 

The Director of Project Finance at Concord New Energy will execute on large pipeline of utility scale solar and energy storage projects. This role would be the lead person on tax equity structuring and project finance transactions, including financial modeling, transaction structuring, negotiations, due diligence, and contract execution for equity, tax equity, and debt transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain project financial models for internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct analysis around financing options and structures, including tax equity. 
• Recommend strategies to best utilize company’s project capital. 
• Manage diligence and contractual processes for all financing related transactions
• Manage 3rd party consultants supporting our transactions including legal, accounting, appraisal, and independent engineers 
• Provide financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders 

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Effective communicator; experienced at reporting financial metrics to executives. Capable of distilling complex concepts into understandable format
• Cross functional thinker; capable of understanding how different project issues translate through to financial implications 
• Proactive learner; on the front edge of the industry as new trends and financial instruments are being developed 
• Strong personal network; understands who major players and consulting groups are and how to utilize. Proactive networker
• At least 5-7 years of project finance experience in renewable power industry
