**Apartment Assistant Manager**
Office San Antonio, Texas Minimum Experience **Mid-level** Compensation **$18 Hr. Plus Benefits** * Supervise leasing and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company policy
* Analyze performance and trends to develop and implement a monthly marketing plan
* Train motivate and supervise all on-site staff to achieve the operational goals of the assigned community. This includes new employee orientation and training, ongoing formal and informal performance evaluation, review and approval of timesheets, instructing, and advising on-site staff of employee procedures and guidelines.
* Provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards for resident service
* Assist in preparation of a budget, and adherence to approved budgets
* Complete month-end and year-end reporting as required
* Provide a narrative of all monthly budget variances /- 10% per line item
* Ensure that property operations are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements.
* Three plus years of related multi-family property management experience
* Strong leadership and management skills are essential
* A valid Driver's License is required
- Assist Property Manager with resident renewals.
- Help resolve resident disputes and problems.
- Help with gathering data for preparation of annual property budget.
- Supervise and direct staff in absence of Property Manager.
- Schedule make-readies to prepare units for new residents.
- Inspect units to ensure readiness and adherence to company standards.
- Take calls for maintenance request from residents.
- Call back residents to check on maintenance performed.
- Purchase necessary parts, supplies and services that are within budget.
- Perform after hours on call duties as required.
- Help plan and direct social activities.
- Bookkeeping experience
