The Event Coordinator position is the spirit of the Shooters World brand. The ideal candidate must be a highly driven individual with remarkable interpersonal skills. The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning/coordinating all Shooters World Orlando related events (Private/Public On-Site, Private/Public Off-Site and Employee Only). The Event Coordinator must always ensure that the Shooters World brand is constantly and consistently engaging our guests, both current and future. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver the World’s Best Firearm Experience
• Serve as an ambassador for the Shooters World brand to all of our customers in store and out in the community
• Increase Shooters World’s brand awareness and generate new sales opportunities
• Assist the Shooters World Marketing Director with advertising in the local community
• Encourage customer engagement both in the facility and on social media
• Support and foster relationships with repeat members and high-profile clientele
• Direct and Coordinate the planning and execution of special events
• Coordinate all amenities for both private and public special events (catering, audio-visual, firearm/range rental packages, etc.)
• Have a sound knowledge of all range amenities and rental firearm selections
• Seek additional revenue opportunities through firearm rentals, ammunition sales and facility rentals
• Oversee store membership paperwork, payments and customer questions

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Remarkable intrapersonal skills
• Prefer Bi-Lingual (English-Spanish) (English-Portuguese)
• 2 Year of prior event director experience
• Customer satisfaction orientation
• Proven ability to manage and work within established processes
• Functional proficiency with computer programs and systems
• Be an individual who is driven, confident and flexible
• Must pass drug test, background check and any pre-employment tests if applicable
