What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
In the production plant, the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general facility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high-speed automated production machinery and other manufacturing equipment.
Shift Details: Shift time 10:00p - 6:30a
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficiencies.
  • Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP.
  • Participate in rebuilds and overhauls on production lines and support equipment.
  • Assist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts Planner.
  • Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reports.
  • Support the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and environmental policies, practices, and programs.
  • Operate with technical skills the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management system. This is for inventory and production line operational excellence.
  • Clean tools, parts, and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance.
  • Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvement.
  • Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.
  • Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate.
  • Trade School certified preferred.
  • 2 years of maintenance experience.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read schematics.
  • Welding and Fabrication experience.
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
  • ing, production operators, and industrial technology preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
