What does a Production Maintenance Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola? In the production plant the Maintenance Technician performs a variety of general facility maintenance. The production environment is operational 24/7 so the technician is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot complex equipment in charge of production processes. There is high speed automated production machinery, and other manufacturing equipment. Job Details:Location: This will be at our Wilsonville plant2:00p - 10:30p (Mon-Fri, some weekends and OT)Responsibilities: Provide Support to production lines by troubleshooting failures and other issues and making necessary repairs to production and facility equipment to maximize efficienciesComplete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAPParticipate in rebuilds and overhauls on production line and support equipmentAssist with parts management by ensuring parts are checked out of stock and communicating any deficiencies to the Parts PlannerProvide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff through End of Shift reportsSupport the Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) process by participating in established routines with production operators and following up on top causes of downtimeMaintain a clean and organized workspaceFollow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programsOperate with technical skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management systemClean tools, parts and equipment after line rebuilds/repairs/maintenance Install new equipment as necessary and provide technical expertise to train and support production with a continued desire for lean supply chain process initiatives and improvement Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed Quality reviews of equipment assigned to maintain safety and performance standards Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate Trade School certified preferred 2 years of maintenance experienceExcellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read schematicsWelding and Fabrication experienceExperience working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems. Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business Ability to lift 50 pounds
