What does a Facilities Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola? In this role, you will be the Facilities Maintenance Technician for our production, warehouse and distribution campus in Tempe, Arizona. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Maintenance Manager Responsibilities include: Provide facilities maintenance support to production, warehouse and distribution buildings and make necessary repairs. Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems (example: replacing belts, pumps, air filters, etc.) Replacing light bulbs and making electrical related repairs (example: replacing electrical receptacles, etc.) Making routine plumbing repairs (example: repairing leaks, unplugging toilets and drains, etc.) Performing routine carpentry work (example: minor paint jobs, installing doors, door stops, cabinet doors, hanging TV’s, adjustable shelving, setting forms for concrete, etc.) Complete all assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks through SAP. Provide consistent communication with fellow maintenance staff. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices and programs. Requirements: High school Diploma or relevant degree Technical or Facilities Training a plus 2 years facilities or maintenance experience Basic knowledge of plumbing systems Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems Knowledge of HVAC systems and controls Good understanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirements Good organizational skills, with attention to detail Intuitive & strategic problem solver Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to stay on task and meet goals and deadlines with minimal supervision. Motivated mindset and excellent attendance record.
