SUMMARY
The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to each guest arriving and departing the casino entrance. They must enjoy working with the public and be able to provide professional and courteous service at all times. Valet/Bell Attendants welcome and create the first impression upon guest arrival. This will include safely relocating guest automobiles to designated parking locations, assisting passengers during the loading and unloading process, and ensuring luggage is handled with care. This person is responsible for providing excellent customer service and continuously assisting guests. This is a highly visible role which gives opportunity for casual conversation and a chance to discuss local attractions, restaurants, and events in the area.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick-shift) vehicles. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement is desired, but not a requirement.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
The Valet Parking Attendant must possess a valid driver’s license prior to start of job, in addition to being able to provide a clean driving record and proof of insurability. Also needs to be able to pass driving test that is administered in house.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk at a fast pace, talk or hear and occasionally sit. The team member frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Must be able to enter and exit vehicles without restrictions. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud from traffic noise, music and/or loud speakers.
