Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at our Riverchase Mall location . As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso beverages, boba, refreshers and teas
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Uphold company standards for quality and consistency in beverage preparation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and retail transactions
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes, techniques, and equipment
- Passion for coffee and the ability to create visually appealing latte art is a plus
