Shift: Wednesday - Friday 4pm - 4:30am, plus 8hr shift every other Tuesday

Wage Range: $32/hr - $44/hr

Sweet Candy Company is looking for a highly motivated, experienced processing production maintenance technician to join our night shift maintenance team. The ideal candidate can balance a primary focus on automation with a well-rounded mechanical skillset. Strong communication skills, ability to lead by example, willingness to work some overtime, and shift flexibility are highly desired. This position will be focused on maintaining the processing equipment in our operation including mixers, pumps, depositors, kitchens, steam cooking, bag houses, piping systems, load cells, sensors, robotic pick and place.

Required Qualifications:

• ALWAYS work safely, follow all safety protocols, so all our people go home in the same condition in which they arrived

• Work in compliance with all GMP, Food Safety and Sanitation standards

• Must work well in a collaborative and multi-cultural, team-oriented environment

• Strong background in troubleshooting factory automation systems including knowledge of controls, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servos, and pneumatics

• Experience in troubleshooting electrical control circuits including knowledge of AC/DC and facility equipment wiring

• 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment in a similar environment

• Mechanical experience in troubleshooting and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, valves, piping systems

• Communicate effectively and frequently to all stake holders including; production operators, management, quality, sanitation, human resources, peers and team members

• Customer service and continuous improvement mindset

• MS Office
