Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Business Analyst in Richmond, VA.

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and helping to implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity across multiple product categories.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Preparation of internal financial statements at brand and sub-brand level.
• Review and analysis of the monthly income statements at a brand and line-item level.
• Assist with the modeling of annual brand plans.
• Research anomalies in financials to support Business Control's monthly reporting to corporate parent (President's Report, e.g.).
• Gain a working knowledge of regulatory rules and taxation on a federal, state and local level.
• Assess potential financial impacts of regulatory changes driven by the Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

EDUCATION:

• Undergraduate degree in business with emphasis in finance, marketing or economics. MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years of accounting/business analysis experience. Experience in corporate analysis strongly preferred.
