This role is pivotal in expanding our reach and ensuring that more clients experience the unique flavors and service that only Swadley's Catering can provide.

Job Description:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Swadley's Catering, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, engaging with potential clients to introduce them to our outstanding catering services. You will play a key role in driving our company's growth by making and taking calls, promoting our services, and ensuring a smooth transition from initial inquiry to the event planning stage. Your success will directly contribute to solidifying our position as the leading caterer in the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business opportunities by making outbound calls and managing inbound inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Promote Swadley's Catering services effectively, highlighting our unique selling points and how we stand out as the state's top caterer.
  • Understand the needs and preferences of potential clients to tailor your approach and presentations accordingly.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, inquiries, and feedback to help refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
  • Work closely with the catering and event planning teams to ensure a seamless transition for clients from initial contact to event execution.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and offerings in the catering industry.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving set sales targets and participating in marketing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality or catering industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • A self-starter with a driven, results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • A passion for food, events, and creating memorable experiences for clients.
