Sutter Metals is Hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician Near Tacoma, WA
Busy recycling plant in Tacoma, WA is seeking highly motivated and experienced individuals with a strong mechanic background and skill. Operating days are Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays available. Hours are roughly 8am-5pm with overtime available.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years experience in vehicle or equipment maintenance / repair.
- Aged 25 or above.
- CDL Class A driver's license preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Diligent attention to safety.
Essential Duties:
- Provide regular maintenance and service to company trucks and equipment.
- Effectively diagnose and collaborate on repairs with service manager.
- Work effectively with service manager and production team.
- Work to identify and communicate mechanical hazards
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Acceptable DOT drug test history
- OSHA familiarity/training
Sutter Metals, LLC. is a growing company with three locations: Thurston County, Lewis County and Pierce County with room for growth at all levels.
