Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. You will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, collaborating with the culinary team to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting
- In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills and presentation
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working in a sushi bar or Japanese restaurant
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited culinary school
