Surgical Associates is looking for a medical assistant to join our team. We are a busy practice with 8 General Surgeons . Our clinic is very fast paced, and you will work directly with our surgeons during clinic. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, have the ability to multi task, have experience in a medical office, and working on an EMR system. Primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Preparing charts for clinic, ensuring that we have all essential information on each patient.
• Seeing the patients in clinic with the surgeon
• Some minor wound care
• Scheduling surgeries
• Ordering tests and authorizing surgeries
• Answer patient questions and complete requested paperwork

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical office
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
